White Stone Community Church has been around for nearly 20 years. We have been through a lot during that time, from establishing and growing our own facilities to making connections in our broad, eclectic neighborhoods to figuring out how to "do church" during a pandemic! It hasn't been boring!
We believe that when you follow God, connect to the church, discover your purpose, and serve others, you will experience a life fulfilled. We are committed to helping you grow closer to Christ in these ways.
We summarize our mission as: Making dedicated followers of Christ who love God and love others. We do this by putting emphasis on gathering, growing, and serving. We GATHER for worship every Sunday where we enjoy being together, singing, sharing communion, praying, and learning about God's instructions. We GROW in our faith through Bible studies in sermons, classes, and groups for men, for women, and for children. We GO to our neighbors through special Wednesday night programming, local partnerships, regular neighborhood service events, and availability for conversations and counseling.
We know that God is up to something incredible in the communities in this area. We'd love you to join us on this amazing journey of following Jesus and bringing the hope of heaven to the earth! James (Jim) Bayne, the Senior Pastor of White Stone Community Church, has been our beloved full-time minister for 10 years. He provides powerful Bible-based teaching in a very nurturing style. He leverages a Master of Theology degree, leadership experience in the Marine Corps, a key role in the LifeQuest USA organization that supports at-risk youth in the New Mexico juvenile justice system, and experience on the mission board for the Baptist Church of New Mexico.

Franchesca Bayne serves as the Director of the Ministries and Special Events as well as leading Children's Ministry. She brings deep knowledge of the Bible as well as strong leadership skills from a leadership role at an Albuquerque megachurch, a Master of Counseling degree, and an upcoming Master of Clinical Social Work degree. Franchesca loves and is very experienced in teaching children as well. She also knows the neighborhood, having grown up in Pena Blanca.

Francisco Boyd serves as a Deacon, a vital and esteemed position in areas such as supporting the pastor in the day-to-day administration and in providing pastoral care of the members. Francisco also leverages his experience as a contractor for his roles as the Safety Officer and the Maintenance Director. Francisco is also bilingual and native to the Pena Blanca area.

Veronica Boyd serves as Treasurer. She oversees all banking activities, including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations, with the aim of accuracy, transparency, and attention to detail. She brings management experience from a governmental position as a Human Resources Manager across the Midwestern United States.

Anita Miller focuses on connecting the church with the community, fostering relationships, building trust, and demonstrating God's love through action. Her background includes serving as the Director and Outreach Leader for a large church in Albuquerque and a career as a Raytheon Corporation Vice President leading strategic planning and business development.

Monica Pizana leads the church hospitality services including making sure people feel welcomed and comfortable in any situation as well as making sure the facilities are clean, safe, and well stocked for worship, classes, and special events. She conveys happiness and contentment and looks forward to meeting all the new faces that walk through the door.

Katie Salas serves as a Youth Group Leader. She and her husband, Manny, facilitate and coordinate a robust youth engagement strategy that includes recruitment, teaching, guidance, coaching, advocacy and communications about programming. Katie brings experience as a former missionary as well as a parent and a supply chain management professional.

Manny Salas serves as a Deacon, a vital and esteemed position in areas such as supporting the Pastor in the day-to-day administration and in providing pastoral care of the members. Manny also leads the Welcome Team that assists and welcomes visitors. Manny and his wife, Katie, facilitate and coordinate a robust youth engagement strategy that includes teaching, coaching,and coaching.

Carol serves as the church pianist and worship team coordinator. Carol develops and implements strategies to enhance the worship experiences and fosters congregation engagement for events such as the annual Christmas music celebration. She is a highly talented musician who writes and composes music. She performs as a professional pianist broadly across New Mexico.
